High efficiency coalescing and dry particulate filters with very low pressure drop providing excellent energy savings.
The Parker OIL-X range of die-cast compressed air filters has been designed from the outset to meet the air quality requirements of all editions of ISO8573-1, when validated in accordance with the stringent requirements of ISO12500-1.
An efficient and cost effective manufacturing process is a major factor in maintaining the profitability and growth of your business. Designed using domnick hunter filtration technology, OIL-X filters are designed to not only minimise the use of compressed air and electrical energy in their operation, but also to significantly reduce the operational costs of the compressor by minimising pressure losses.
OIL-X filters incorporate a number of unique and patented design features to minimise differential pressure and provide a filter and element combination where the differential pressure starts low and stays low to maximise energy savings and provide the lowest lifetime costs without compromising air quality.
Features
• For the removal of bulk liquid, water and oil aerosols, atmospheric dirt and solid particles, rust, oil vapour, pipescale and micro-organisms
• Coalescing filter performance tested to the stringent requirements of ISO12500-1, ISO8573-2 and ISO8573-4
• Dry particulate filter performance tested in accordance with the requirements of ISO8573-4
Benefits
• Highest air quality
• Lowest operational differential pressure
• Lowest energy consumption
• Lowest CO2 emissions
• Lowest total cost of ownership
Sizing and Selection
To ensure quoted air purity specification is met, more than one filtration grade may be required.
Important Note: For quoted air purity performance, compressed air filters must be sized correctly for minimum operating pressure and maximum inlet flow rate using the correction factors found in the Product Information Sheet.

CompAir Ultima – U75-U160
100% oil and silicone-free for clean air critical applications
Ultima™ is CompAir’s groundbreaking oil-free PureAir screw compressor with a unique design. It is a brand new compressor range and it utilises a low pressure and high pressure dry screw airend. Each airend is individually driven by a variable speed, permanent magnet synchronous motor, offering exceptional levels of efficiency versus traditional oil-free technology.
CompAir is always improving the best products to be even better and more cutting edge.
Ultima™ – the real deal
Ultima compressors are 100% oil and silicone-free and meet ISO 8573-1 Class Zero (2010), making them the ideal choice for stringent oil-free applications within food and beverage, pharmaceutical, electronic and the automotive industries. What makes this compressor series unique is the lack of a gearbox. Ultima uses ultra high efficiency direct drive motors which replace the gearbox and the single motor, which optimise performance throughout the complete volume range, as the airends can be driven at different speeds dependant on the demand. With a single motor driving both airends together this is not possible. This is where Ultima is hard to beat.
The 55 – 75 kW range of lubricated screw compressors comprises of fixed speed and regulated speed (RS) models.
The new compressors deliver efficiency improvements of up to 8 per cent when compared with previous models, plus a 5 per cent higher flow rate.
The new compressors are available in both fixed and regulated speeds – which can help reduce a system’s total cost of ownership significantly – as well as air-cooled and water-cooled options.
Pressure range: 5 to 13 bar
Volume flow: 2.1 to 14.03 m³/min
Motor power: 55 to 75 kW
The new versatile screw compressor range from 30 to 45 kW can be configured to meet the customers’ efficiency requirements. The E-models feature a larger air end delivering highest efficiency levels.
Well known in the industry for quality and reliability, CompAir continuously develops the L-Series achieving cutting edge performance and efficiency.
The regulated speed models save energy by matching the output to the plant air demand. All fixed speed models are available with integrated dryer option.
The E-Models of the L-Series screw compressors feature an extra large airend with optimised rotor tip speed achieving up to 6% energy savings.
The largest cost component of a compressor is the energy to run it. The reduction of energy costs significantly impacts on the total costs of ownership.
The additional investment costs for this range of super efficient compressors will pay back in many cases in less than 12 months. The extra large air end also has a longer life expectancy.
Real Time Clock – allows pre-setting of compressor starting/stopping
Second Pressure Setting
Integrated Cooling and Dryer Control
Fault History Log – for in-depth analysis
Remote Control via Programmable Inputs
Auto Restart after Power Failure
Optional Base Load Sequencing
SD Card – stores several run characteristics
A Scroll Compressor is also referred to as a Spiral Compressor, a scroll pump or a scroll vacuum pump. The Rotary Spiral Scroll design creates a continual compressed airflow over multiple stages and there is no need for oil lubrication. A scroll compressed air system runs quieter and more smoothly than a reciprocating version because there are only two moving parts – a fixed scroll and an orbital scroll. Fewer parts make the scroll compressor energy-efficient, highly reliable, and less prone to mechanical failure. Compared with a rotary screw compressor, a scroll compressor vibrates less and is almost noiseless.
Scroll compression
An orbiting (rotating) scroll and fixed scroll housing are mated to create the compression chambers.
The continual movement of the orbiting scroll moves atmospheric air from the intake toward the center, compressing the air into progressively smaller areas.
The compressed air is directed to the center discharge port of the compressor.
Discharge pressure is accomplished during multiple stages of compression, resulting in a continuous intake suction and discharge.

Welcome to the new DX series range of oil-free air compressor from CompAir, with 8 new models available as both fixed and regulated speed versions in the large 200 - 355 kW range, pressure range: 4 to 10 bar, volume flow 11.4 to 53.4 m³/min
When PureAir Technology is High Priority
There’s a lot riding on the quality of your air. The presence of particles, condensate, oil and oil vapor in a compressed air system can lead to downtime, product spoilage and recall, damage to your brand reputation, or worse, harmed consumers and product liability.
SimplAir Aluminum Piping
The new SimplAir piping system from Ingersoll Rand uses marine-grade aluminum pipes to efficiently distribute leak-free supplies of high-flow compressed air and other inert gasses and support vacuum systems as well. For lower cost, higher performance, easier installation, and less maintenance than systems made of competing materials, the Simplair piping system is the best choice.
